The snow-clearing machine operator did not need to be hospitalized following a collision with the airplane carrying CEO of French oil company Total Christophe de Margerie, a source familiar with the situation told Interfax.
"The operator received medical attention at the scene. Officers from law enforcement agencies are currently working with him," he said.
Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin told Interfax earlier that the operator of the snow-removal machine which collided with de Margerie's Falcon plane at Vnukovo Airport had reportedly been under the influence of alcohol.
