According to data from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), annual inflation in Russia was 8.3 percent, First Deputy Central Bank Governor Ksenia Yudayeva said at a group meeting to discuss the monetary policy on Wednesday.

"Rosstat measures each week. They just calculated and show that inflation has grown further - [it is] already at 8.3 percent," she said, responding to a question from deputies on inflation.
