Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said a pro-European coalition with a constitutional majority in the Verkhovna Rada would be formed after the early parliamentary elections.

"I am not just hoping, I am absolutely convinced that the pro-European coalition will have ample constitutional majority after these parliamentary elections," he told journalists after casting his ballot in Kiev.

It will be the victory of democracy and European choice, Poroshenko said.
