Russian, Ukrainian military specialists set up joint center to monitor ceasefire - Russian diplomat

Russian and Ukrainian military officials are preparing to jointly participate in the monitoring of the ceasefire area in Ukraine, Russian Permanent Envoy to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Andrei Kelin said.

"It's true that a group of our military [officials] has arrived on Ukrainian territory, and they have been there for several weeks," Kelin told Interfax on Tuesday.

"They [Ukrainian and Russian military specialists] have set up a joint center and are working together on maps and are preparing to join the monitoring of the situation," he said.

The Russian military specialists are in Ukraine at an invitation from the chief of staff of the Ukrainian armed forces, he said.
