The administration of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DNR) is set to elect the new heads of local self-government bodies after the powers of the existing ones expire on December 7, DNR prime minister Alexander Zakharchenko said.
"Powers of the existing heads of local self-government bodies expire on December 7. The elections will be held after that," he told Novoazovsk residents on Thursday.
Zakharchenko said local self-government bodies of differing levels would be elected after December 7. "I mean district, city and village councils," he added.
