Russian President Vladimir Putin plans to have a separate bilateral meeting with German Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Brisbane, Australia, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"The meeting has been planned," the press secretary noted.
The German federal chancellor said earlier that her meeting with Putin was quite probable at the G20 summit to discuss the Ukrainian situation amongst other issues.
"There is a high probability that the meeting will take place," she told reporters in New Zealand.
"The Minsk agreements are not being fulfilled. This issue will also be discussed on the G20 margins," Merkel said, adding that it was a big concern of hers.
