Any decision on the French helicopter carriers — delivery or compensation — will suit Russia, Russian presidential aide Yury Ushakov told reporters on Monday.
During the talks on Saturday, Russian and French presidents Vladimir Putin and Francois Hollande did not discuss it. Hollande did not raise the issue, and the Russian side even did not make an attempt to raise it, Ushakov said.
The president said the situation was taken calmly. “Both options — warships or money — will suit us,” the presidential aide said.
