Companies from the Skolkovo innovation center intend to take part in the cleanup of the Ganges.
"We are ready to make our contribution to the implementation of the plans of cleaning the waters of the Ganges recently announced by the Indian government. At least two dozen Skolkovo member-companies are working on projects related to water purification and quality monitoring," head of Skolkovo Viktor Vekselberg told the press in Delhi.
He added that BioMikroGeli company, a Skolkovo resident, was recently included in the top 30 world start-up companies in purification technologies at a leading international forum in Berlin.
It is indicative that this was followed by the beginning of cooperation talks between BioMikroGeli and such a world leader as Total, Vekselberg added.
