Militia, Ukrainian military accuse each other of violating ceasefire in Donbass

The Ukrainian military violated the ceasefire regime ten times in the past 24 hours, the militia headquarters told Interfax on Sunday.

The militia's positions came under fire from mortars, large-caliber guns, and a tank, the militia headquarters said.

"Our positions came under mortar fire in the area of the city of Yekakiyeve. Shots were also fired from large-caliber guns and a tank," the headquarters said.

No civilian casualties have been reported.

The militia headquarters currently has no information on the personnel and equipment lost by the sides.

The press center for the military operation in eastern Ukraine, for its part, has reported that the Ukrainian military positions came under fire 14 times in the past 24 hours.

The press center said on Facebook on Sunday that the enemy used primarily firearms and a Grad system and mortars had been used once.

According to the military, fire was opened on the populated areas of Frunze, Krymskoye, Stanitsa Luganskaya, Verkhnetoretskoye, Avdiyivka, Nikishino, and Debaltseve.
