A total of 5,163 facilities have been rebuilt in the Donetsk region as of December 12, according to the regional authorities.

"Reconstruction of the facilities damaged by hostilities requires 2.767 billion hryvni ($170 million). By last Friday, 35.8 million ($2.5 million) hryvni had been spent," the spokesperson said.

The region spent 5.6 million hryvni to rebuild 410 residential buildings, 6.5 million hryvni to restore power supplies to 153 populated areas and eight power-supply facilities, and 3.9 million hryvni on 66 thermal-power supply facilities, the regional state administration said.

"Furthermore, 6.6 million hryvni were spent to restore gas supplies to four populated areas, repair 1,215 gas pipelines and reconnect 3,234 private houses to gas," the spokesperson said.

The Donetsk region also spent 13.1 million hryvni ($0.8 million) to repair 72 social-infrastructure facilities.
