Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has presented condolences to the Pakistani counterpart over the school attack in Peshawar and condemned that barbaric crime.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has presented condolences to the Pakistani counterpart over the school attack in Peshawar and condemned that barbaric crime.

"On behalf of the Russian government and myself, I present profound condolences over the inhumane terror attack on a school in Peshawar which caused numerous casualties. We strongly condemn this barbaric crime. We express our solidarity with the people of Pakistan in their uncompromising fight against extremists," Medvedev said in his message.

He asked the Pakistani prime minister to convey his support to the families and friends of the victims and wishes of the soonest recovery to the injured.
