The head of the Russian presidential administration, Sergei Ivanov, has said that however the situation evolves around the delivery of the French Mistral helicopter carriers, it will be acceptable to Moscow.

The head of the Russian presidential administration, Sergei Ivanov, has said that however the situation evolves around the delivery of the French Mistral helicopter carriers, it will be acceptable to Moscow.

"With regard to Mistrals, any option - either the ships, or the money (back) suits us," Ivanov told reporters.

"I can tell you frankly that our homeland defense will not suffer without the Mistrals," Ivanov added.
