"The parties resumed their discussion on ways to facilitate a peaceful settlement process in the south-east of Ukraine, including through the implementation of the Minsk agreements. In this context, they reiterated the need to convene the next meeting of the Contact Group as soon as possible," the ministry said.

The ministers also discussed a schedule for further "Normandy format" consultations at different levels, it said.
