Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law introducing a ban on visits to Russia for a period of ten years for migrants who have committed gross violations of the migration regime.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law introducing a ban on visits to Russia for a period of ten years for migrants who have committed gross violations of the migration regime.

Under this law, migrants who overstay their time in Russia by nine months will be barred from entering Russia for ten years and migrants who overstay their time in Russia by six months will be barred from entering Russia for five years.
