The militia of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people's republic (DPR) claim that the Ukrainian government forces have violated a ceasefire 16 times over the past 24 hours.

"Our positions have been shelled 16 times, and 30% of all violations were committed in the area of the community of Nikishyne, where Ukrainian forces used tank and artillery guns. The other facts were near the Donetsk airport and the city's northern outskirts. In these cases, Ukrainian forces used firearms and grenade launchers," militia deputy chief of staff Eduard Basurin told journalists on Sunday.

The militia headquarters also told Interfax that Ukrainian artillery shelled the neighborhood of Trudovske. "A resident of the neighborhood of Trudovske sustained a stomach injury in an artillery attack. Two private homes were also damaged," a headquarters spokesman said. Ukrainian artillery also damaged a gas pipeline and several electrical substations, he said.

At the same time, the Ukrainian government forces claim that the Donbas militia have violated the ceasefire 10 times.

The press center of the military operation being conducted in eastern Ukraine says that the militia "shot firearms and grenade launchers twice upon the government forces at the Donetsk airport and three times in the community of Nikishyne. The communities of Bohdanivka and Orlovske came under artillery fire, and the Grad multiple rocket launcher was used to shell the outskirts of Hnutove."

The press center also reported on its Facebook account that the militiamen used guided antitank missiles near Novoaidar.
