Roskomnadzor has issued a warning to the daily newspaper RBC and five other publications for publications found by Roskomnadzor to be offensive to Muslims.
According to a report posted on the Roskomnadzor website, "the editorial office of the newspaper RBC Business Weekly illustrated its materials with images that are offensive to the religious feelings of Muslims and fan religious feud."
Similar warnings were issued by the founder of the online publication Lenizdat.ru, the electronic periodical Vek, the electronic periodical InterNovosti.ru, the founder of the online publication Information Agency VK Press, and the online publication www.kurier-media.ru.
