A source in the group in charge of preparations for the next round of the contact group negotiations in Minsk said the meeting may take place before the end of this week.
"The next round is possible in the next few days. Maybe even before the end of this week," the source told Interfax.
The source said the main issue to be addressed in the meeting will be the observance of the ceasefire regime by the parties. "The meeting may also address the withdrawal of heavy weapons, but only if a compromise is reached on the first issue," the source said.
Interfax has no confirmation from outside sources about this story.
