Moscow can act as a guarantor of possible agreements between the conflicting parties in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"If the principal actors in the Minsk process, the Ukrainian authorities and representatives of the proclaimed DPR and LPR, reach understandings on each provision of the Minsk agreement, I am sure Russia will be among those who can provide guarantees of these understandings," Lavrov said at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday.
"Be it in the OSCE or in the UN, I am sure Germany and France are also willing to provide such guarantees," he added.
The opposition emerging in Europe to plans of arming Ukraine inspires hope for settling the crisis in this country, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
