Russia's KRET Concern presenting the latest EW at Aero India-2015

Concern Radio-electronic technologies (KRET) belonging to the State Corporation Rostech, is presenting its unique developments in avionics at the exhibition Aero India 2015.

«Participation in Aero India 2015 will allow us to better assess the current needs of military and civil products market, - Deputy Director General for International Business and Regional Policy of KRET Igor Zolotov told the journalists. - Our advanced developments received positive feedback and interest of international partners, in the first place, of the Indian Air Force which widely uses Russian-made military equipment. Expanding our presence in the Indian market will allow the concern to strengthen its position as an integrated supplier of avionics for Asian countries.»

«Russia and India remain strategic partners both in the military and civil fields, - Head of International Cooperation Department of SC Rostec Victor Kladov said - Joint projects are realized by such Rostec holdings as «Russian Helicopters», UEC, KAMAZ, AVISMA and others. Military-technical cooperation between the two countries contributes to solving the strategic task of improving Russian-Indian trade turnover.»

KRET stand exhibits multimode airborne radar «Zhuk-AE» with active phased array antenna (FGA35 version), with the unique ability to detect and track a large class of air and ground targets and to simultaneously guide missiles at them. The tactical and technical features of the system (with smaller dimensions and weight) leave competitors behind and it is designed to be installed on promising new generation aircrafts, including MiG-35.

The laser optical-electronic suppression station of airborne defense «President-S» is another unique development in the field of electronic warfare presented by KRET at Aero India 2015. Using this system enables military and civil helicopters and planes to effectively counter missiles with infrared homing. «President-S» protects the aerotechnics in view of increasing threat of terrorists using man-portable air defense systems.

Russian exposition area of 703 square meters was built with consideration of the most promising areas of military-technical cooperation with India. It will host the stands of 30 Russian companies, 25 of which will present military products, including 9 MTC organizations: OAO «Rosoboronexport», OJSC «Sukhoi», SC RAC «MiG», JSC «IL», JSC Concern PVO «Almaz-Antey», JSC PO «UOMZ» , JSC «Vertolety Rossii» («Russian Helicopters»), JSC «APC», JSC «AEC». In total the information will be provided on 274 exhibits of military purpose.
