The contract for the supply of 42 kits for assembly of Su-30MKI to India, signed in 2012, will be fulfilled before the end of 2015, the vice-president of Irkut corporation Vitaly Borodich said at Aero India 2015.
"The contract is to be fulfilled this year,"- said Borodich, responding to a related question.
He specified that there are only six more kits left to supply.
As of today, Su-30MKI form the basis of the combat strength of the Indian Air Force. The total volume of orders is 272 jets, but it may increase due to the possible refusal of the Indians to purchase French jet fighters Rafale.
