«Russian Helicopters» ready to upgrade all the Mi and Ka in India

«More than 300 Mi and Ka are operating in India. We are concerned about their serviceability and readiness. We will be also offering modernization programs,» - Mikheyev said.

The JSC is also offering its Indian partners a full program of helicopters servicing in India.

Russian helicopters began to be delivered to India in the 1950s. First the Indian pilots received Mi-4, then Mi-8/17. In the Indian sky there are also the heavy Mi-26, the combat Mi-25/35, the marine Ka-25, Ka-28 and Ka-31.

JSC «Russian Helicopters» is a subsidiary of OPK «Oboronprom» (part of «Rostec»), one of the world's leaders in helicopter industry, the only developer and manufacturer of helicopters in Russia. The JSC was established in 2007.

«Rostec» is Russian state corporation established in 2007 to promote the development, production and export of high-tech products for civil and military purposes.
