Russia to gather engineering troops from allied countries – Serbia, India and China

“As for those who have shown interest, I just held talks with the attaché from Serbia, and he said they wished to participate. Byelorussians, Chinese, and Indians have also announced their interest. Our talks with the Serbians boiled down to the fact that we could prepare for them pontoneers and drivers of floating transporters,” said the general.

The program of exercises will definitely include erecting the “bridge of friendship”, and the replacement of bridge members with the help of helicopters.

The last Open Water exercises took place in July-August 2014 in the city of Murom (Vladimir Oblast).
