The Center for Media Rights Protection is the 42nd organization on the list.

The source said the Center for Media Rights Protection was found to meet the foreign agent criteria during a surprise inspection conducted by the ministry's department in the Voronezh region.

The law on foreign agents requires NGOs that are in receipt of foreign grants to register in the register of foreign agents. The leading human rights organizations are boycotting this requirement. Among the organizations included in the register are the center Memorial and the Sakharov Center.
