Some 7,000 people have gathered for a procession commemorating opposition figure Boris Nemtsov in the center of Moscow, the press service of the Moscow police reports.
"Some 4,000 people went through the metal detection arches by the beginning of the event commemorating Boris Nemtsov. Some 3,000 more are waiting in front of them and are going through checks in an orderly way," the report says.
"Thus by the time of the beginning of the event some 7,000 people gathered to take part in it," the press service said.
