Anton Chekhov’s play “Three Sisters” performed at the RCSC in New Delhi

Anton Chekhov’s well-known play “Three Sisters” was presented jointly by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) and the Collegiate Drama Society on February 27, 2015.

Anton Chekhov’s well-known play “Three Sisters” was presented jointly by the Russian Centre of Science and Culture (RCSC) and the Collegiate Drama Society on February 27, 2015.   

The performance was staged to mark the Russian writer’s 155th birth anniversary and also as part of the Year of Literature in Russia-2015.

The play was directed by Ravi Taneja and Pooja Tiwari. The excellent performance coupled with the unique dramatic talent of the participants made the play a splendid show.

The theme of the play with its contemporary relevance seemed all-pervading cutting across all borders in the society in particular and the world at large. Each and every artist contributed to the perfect and precise feature of characters as if they virtually involved in their respective roles.
