According to Dankvert, «there seems to be some internal disagreement over prices» on buffalo meat. «The prices they quoted were higher than the ones of Brazil, although earlier they claimed that the price was the most attractive,» - Interfax agency quoted him as saying.

On December 4, 2014 Rosselhoznadzor gave permission to four Indian companies to supply buffalo meat to Russia. No deliveries to Russia have been made yet, although the first batch has already been formed, Interfax reported.
