Conflicting sides in Yemen should stop hostilities for sake of national unity - Moscow

Bogdanov: "The Russian side confirmed Moscow's call to all sides to the conflict to give up the continuation of hostilities"

Special representative of the Russian president for the Middle East and Africa, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov met head of the Yemeni presidential administration Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak and Foreign Minister and Riyadh Yasin Abdullah in the sidelines of an Arab League summit in Sharm el-Sheikh.

"The Russian side expressed grave concern over the latest developments in Yemen and confirmed Moscow's call to all sides to the conflict to give up the continuation of hostilities for the sake of keeping the unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Yemen through establishing a broad dialogue involving all political and religious forces in the country," a report posted on the Russian Foreign Ministry website on Sunday says.
