Russian-Chinese cooperation under the Silk Road Economic Belt project will be on the agenda of the talks between the Russian and Chinese leaders during Xi Jinping's visit to Moscow in May, First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov said on Rossiya 24 television.
"We will cooperate with China and other countries in creating a Silk Road economic belt. This project and Eurasian Partnership must jointly create new opportunities and supplement each other," Shuvalov said.
The project is opening new investment opportunities for Russia, he said. "All will be welcome to join it and create a multitude of infrastructure and economic opportunities for partners in this business project," he added.
"It is a format to be dealt with at a political level. Our leaders will definitely discuss it in Moscow on May 8," Shuvalov said.
