The official website of the third world Russian Language teachers contest has begun registration for the competition, and will continue accepting applications until May 15. The contest will be held in a number of countries worldwide, including the U.S., the UK, Germany, Greece, Spain, Italy, France, China, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, Japan, Argentina, Brazil and many others.
Both native and non-native teachers of Russian at schools, gymnasiums, universities and other educational centers are invited to apply to take part in the competition, for which a degree in professional humanitarian education is mandatory.
The competition will feature two rounds: The first will continue till June 20, 2015, after which the winners will be invited to the final round in Moscow, which will be held from October 20-24, 2015.
Last year 15 teachers from different countries took part in the final round. Alexander Strokanov from the U.S. won the competition.
