Russia and China seek more active efforts to resume N. Korea nuclear talks

Moscow and Beijing want the six-party talks on the nuclear problem of the Korean peninsula to resume as soon as possible, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

Moscow and Beijing want the six-party talks on the nuclear problem of the Korean peninsula to resume as soon as possible, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said.

"We will also continue to work in close coordination on the nuclear problem of the Korean peninsula that is currently at an impasse. And here it is necessary to intensify efforts in order to create an environment conducive to the resumption of the six-nation talks," Lavrov told a press conference after talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Moscow on Tuesday.
