Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov on Thursday presented a draft national security strategy drawn up by the council, which outlines the principal threats to the state and priorities of its domestic and foreign policy.
The strategy mentions "Russia's aggressive policy among principal threats," Turchynov said.
Ukraine also views European and Euro-Atlantic integration as a priority in its foreign and domestic policy, he said.
"We view NATO membership as the only reliable external guarantee of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity," he said.
