Andrey Guriev, general director of FosAgro, in an interview told Interfax, that Russian producers of phosphate fertilizers have high hopes for India.
According to Mr. Guriev, there are expectations that subsidies for the purchase of fertilizers will be increases to about 8-10%. Most of these subsidies will be going directly for the purchases of phosphorus and potassium.
Seeing that last year for India was the worst in many years, in terms of fertilizer usage, with warehouses being emptied out, now India is rapidly increasing its imports.
