The Russian-Iranian S-300 contract is due to be fulfilled before the end of this year, the Iranian defense minister said on Thursday.
"We came to an agreement that it will take one month to discuss all aspects of this contract, and that it will be fulfilled before the end of the year," Hossein Dehghan told reporters after meeting in Moscow with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Shoigu.
"We discussed our agreement on defense and on military technological cooperation, and the stages that we have traversed on this agreement," Dehghan said in reference to his meeting with Shoigu.
The Iranian minister said the agreement would be the basis for boosting Russian-Iranian cooperation.
"We decided that very soon we will move this agreement into the practical phase," he said.
