Rosatom, Russia's state nuclear corporation, plans to export isotope products to Japan.
JSC Isotope, a division of Rosatom, said negotiations on such exports were held in Tokyo in April as part of meetings between Russia's Rusatom Overseas, Isotope, JSC Science & Technology, the Karpov Physics and Chemistry Research Institute and the NIIAR State Research Center and representatives of the Japan Radioisotope Association (JRIA) and companies Nihon Medi Physics, Fujifilm RI Pharma, e-Energy, Marubeni corp. and Chiyoda Corp.
As a result, the parties began substantive negotiations on future contracts.
