President Vladimir Putin has said that Hitler's adventure became a horrible lesson to the world and urged the international community to be vigilant.
"Hitler's adventure became a horrible lesson to the entire world community. Then in the 1930s enlightened Europe did not immediately see the deadly danger of the ideology of Nazism," he said reviewing the parade in Moscow's Red Square on the 70th anniversary of Victory Day.
"Now, 70 years later, history is again appealing to our reason and to our vigilance. We should not forget that the idea of racial superiority and exclusiveness led to the bloodiest of all wars," Putin added.
