According to the human rights activists, people, some wearing masks, gathered near the building where the office of the Joint Mobile Group is located on Wednesday morning. First they just stood, holding posters saying "Why are the Kalyapins silent?" (Igor Kalyapin is chairman of the Committee against Torture) and "Dadayev is victim of arbitrariness!" After that, "shouting and slogans were heard."
"Young men in masks are going at our car, which is parked in the yard, with hammers. The people have broken into the office. They are crushing everything. The guys have escaped through the window," the human rights activists said.
Dmitry Utukin, an official with the Committee against Torture, said on Twitter that "unknown individuals in masks are carrying documents" from the office of the Joint Mobile Group in Grozny.
"The crowd is starting to leave," he said.
