The total cost of construction of energy infrastructure in Crimea stands at 72 bln rubles ($1.3 bln), Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Wednesday.
"Currently the total cost of construction of energy infrastructure in Crimea totals 72 bln rubles," he said, adding that part of those funds may be private investment.
The Minister also said 25 bln rubles are budgeted for construction of power generation in Crimea in the federal budget.
As TASS reported earlier the peninsula currently produces one fifth of energy consumed locally.
