Russia has no plans to extend counter sanctions, Economic Development Minister Alexey Ulyukayev said Thursday.
"I have no information on such plans, [they are] not being developed," he said when answering the question whether Russia plans to extend counter sanctions.
Ulyukayev added that the question of the period of sanctions extension is not essential as it would be the same as the period of extension of European sanctions against Russia. "This is not an essential issue. This will be with adjustment of the date or till a special additional decision. This is not important," the Minister said, adding that if Russia eases counter sanctions it will be of technical nature. "Correction is possible towards slight easing. A reduction in the list [of sanctioned products] is also a possible measure. But those are insignificant technical changes," the Minister said.
