The birthplace of Vladimir Lenin, Uyanovsk will have a statue of Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam News reported on its website.
The 5 meter-tall bronze statue will be installed in an area of more than 2,000 square meters next to Ho Chi Minh Boulevard in the city, according to the report.
Vietnam will cover the construction costs, while the technical consultancy and sculpture work will be provided by Russia.
The statue will be ready in November.
