"The check involves about 50 ships and support vessels, 40 planes and helicopters, and up to 14,000 servicemen and civilian specialists," says a report of the Eastern Military District press service seen by Interfax-AVN on Friday.

Exercises in the Sea of Japan, southern parts of the Sea of Okhotsk and the Avacha Bay will be a part of the check.
