Voronezh female who joined ISIS put on intl wanted list - source

Law enforcement agencies have put a female from Voronezh, 25, who joined the terrorist organization Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) in Syria on the international wanted list, a source with law enforcement agencies told Interfax.

"A criminal inquiry has been opened into Kristina Presnyakova on the counts of 'organizing or participating in an illegal armed unit'. She is a person internationally most wanted on suspicion of perpetrating terrorist crimes," the source said.

In September 2013 Presnyakova reached Syria via Turkey and was trained at a camp of the international terrorist organization, he said.

Now the woman from Voronezh is believed to be staying in the Syrian city of Al-Raqqah. Interfax has yet to receive an official confirmation to this report.
