The Berkuts, aerobatic team of the Russian Air Force, marks its 25th birthday on April 11, 2017.
The Berkuts held the first demonstration flight on April 11, 1992 at the Air Force base in Kubinka, Moscow Region.
The Berkuts is the world's only aerobatic team that uses combat helicopters.
For their performances the team uses Mi-28 Night Hunter and Ka-52 Alligator combat helicopters.
The Berkuts participate in many major events: the Victory day Parade on Red Square, MAKS air show and the ARMY military-technical forum.
