Geopolitical frictions between countries do not affect the implementation of international education programs supported by the U.S., U.S. Ambassador to Russia John Tefft said.
The U.S. continues supporting these projects, the ambassador said while meeting with Fulbright Program students in the Kazan National Research Technological University on Wednesday.
He said that the intensity of geopolitical frictions between Russia and the U.S. varies in the course of decades, but the U.S. continues to adhere to programs between the nations that in this particular case bring Americans and Russians closer together.
