Suspect names all those involved in Boris Nemtsov's murder

Anzor Gubashev, who has been accused of killing Russian opposition politician Boris Nemtsov, has been cooperating with the investigation recently and has identified all people involved in this crime, a source familiar with the situation told Interfax.

"Anzor Gubashev's extensive testimony once again confirmed that those who were arrested are not accidental people, but the immediate perpetrators of the murder," he said.

Gubashev has named all people standing behind Nemtsov's murder, he said.

"At the same time, he says that his cousin Shadid, who was also arrested, has nothing to do with the murder. He is trying to protect him," the source said.

The inquiry is currently focusing on "technical details" with examinations being conducted and documents ordering such examinations being prepared, he said.

Interfax has not been able to obtain official confirmation of the report.

Gubashev's lawyers have repeatedly refused to comment on information that their client is cooperating with the investigation.
