Medvedev signs resolution on size of export duty for gas supplies to Ukraine

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed the resolution setting the size of the export duties on gas supplies to Ukraine from July 1, the official information portal reported.

The resolution was signed on June 29.

Earlier on Monday, Medvedev said that in response to a request from Naftogaz Ukrainy, Russia was ready to provide a discount of about $40 per 1,000 cubic meters in order to maintain the price at the level of the second quarter: $247.17 per 1,000 cubic meters.

The discount takes the form of a reduced gas export duty.
