Russia to participate in Borneo folklore festival

Russia will be sending two delegations to participate in the 10^th annual Sabah International Folklore Festival in Kota Kinabalu in August.

This year’s theme at the festival in Malaysian Borneo will be ‘folklore weddings,’ according to the Borneo Post.

The Russian delegations will showcase ethnic Russian and ethnic Yakut weddings at the festival. They will also perform folk dances at the festival. 

Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan will also take part in the Borneo festival.
