Joint Indo-Russian naval drills, ‘Indra’ 2015, will be held in the Indian Ocean this year, the head of press-service of the Eastern Military District, Captain 1st rank Roman Martov said.
The conduct of these naval exercises was finalized at a conference held in Vladivostok this weekend.
“During the two-day talks, representatives of the Pacific Fleet and Indian Navy’s Eastern Naval Command discussed main questions of organization and planning, terms and places where joint manoeuvres will be held, as well as the composition of the forces involved. The drills are to be held this year in the Indian Ocean”, Martov said.
