King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia might visit Russia in 2015, and Chechnya also expects visits from three delegations from the country as well, head of the Chechen republic Ramzan Kadyrov said when sharing impressions from his recent trip to Saudi Arabia on Instagram.

"It was stated that King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud would visit Russia before the end of the year," Kadyrov said.

The head of Chechnya said he had had a meeting with the Deputy Crown Prince and Defense Minister Muhammad bin Salman of Saudi Arabia during his visit to Jeddah, which was also attended by "the head of the king's administration, the foreign minister, the culture and information minister, and the head of the kingdom's security service."

Muhammad bin Salman "highly praised the Chechen Republic's expertise in combating terrorism and extremism, and in developing the economy," Kadyrov said.

"He announced his decision to consecutively send three delegations to Chechnya. The foreign minister will come in September to familiarize himself with the situation and explore areas of interaction. A delegation led by the minister of religious and pilgrimage affairs will also arrive to study our experience in countering terrorist and extremist ideology," he said.

"Muhammad bin Salman described our experience as unique and that it has a global significance. A delegation of the KSA investment fund has been instructed to study projects in the implementation of which the fund could be involved," Kadyrov said.

"Irrespectively of this, the provision of assistance to the Chechen Republic in various fields will be considered. During the meeting, we designated those in charge of the interaction between the Saudi and Chechen delegations and government bodies. On our part, this will be assigned to Deputy Prime Minister Khasan Khakimov and on the Saudi part to Muhammad bin Salman's adviser. Most importantly, Muhammad bin Salman declared his decision to visit the Chechen Republic personally," Kadyrov said.
