Ho Chi Minh City to send trade delegation to Russia

Vietnamese businessmen are keen to explore the opportunities offered by the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union.

In an attempt to tap opportunities offered by the Free Trade Agreement between Vietnam and the Eurasian Economic Union, the Ho Chi Minh City administration will send a business delegation to Moscow in September, Viet Nam News reports.

The city's enterprises may also join a Vietnamese high-quality goods fair which is scheduled to take place in Moscow from November 12 to December 12 this year, Nguyen Thi Hong, vice chairwoman of the city’s People's Committee told the paper.

Bilateral trade between Russia and Vietnam touched $2.6 billion in 2014. The countries have set a $10 billion target for 2020.
