Putin expresses condolences over death of First Lady Suvra Mukherjee

President Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to President of India Pranab Mukherjee on his wife’s passing, the Kremlin press service informed on Tuesday.

“Suvra Mukherjee was a truly outstanding person. She enjoyed well-deserved respect both at home and abroad as a talented artist, writer, actress and singer, as a person who made a great contribution to the preservation of India’s cultural and spiritual heritage. I am certain that her cherished memory will remain in the hearts of many people,” said Vladimir Putin.
